“The future belongs to those who imagine it — not those
who declare it doomed.”
Silence is unusual for us. But even a foundation devoted to peace and ideas needs a pit stop now and then — a moment to refuel, re‑engineer, and prepare for the road ahead.
Because the road ahead matters.
On January 1, 2026, TFF turns 40. Four decades of independent research, education, and advocacy for the UN Charter norm that “peace shall be established by peaceful means.” And we are not celebrating with nostalgia — we are rebuilding for the future:
- A new technical infrastructure, less dependent on Western monopolies and technology.
- A new homepage where everything we have ever said and done will live under one roof.
- A long‑term plan to ensure TFF’s work outlives us, continuing to inspire long after the lights might otherwise go out.
- New people, projects and publications.
We are bringing in new Associates, engaging in conferences across continents, and preparing to do what so few dare: offer solutions instead of despair.
Because let’s be honest: describing the world as doomed is easy. It is also lazy, unprofessional, and unethical. Imagine a doctor telling a patient: “You’re dying, I can’t see what can be done.” That is malpractice. And yet, that is what much of the West’s intellectual and political class, politicians, and the media do every day. Lack of creativity that makes you give up, and that is precisely what decision-makers want you to do.
TFF will never join that Doom and Gloom Choir of ‘realistic,’ hope-killing geo-political boredom. Something – small or bigger – can always be done. With creativity. With courage. With vision. With people’s power…
The future will not be built by those who chant catastrophe. It will be built by those who dare to imagine peace when the kakistocrats of militarism insist war is inevitable. They want you to believe that preparing for endless conflict is the only rational path.
That is the biggest lie – delusion – of our kakistocratic times!
We say the opposite: peace is possible. Call it naïve, call it unrealistic — but history has always been moved forward by those who refused to accept “realism”and inevitable destruction.
TFF will continue to be that voice. Not just warning, but building. Not just analysing, but proposing. Not just surviving, but imagining.
“Calling peace naïve is the last refuge of those who have no imagination — and imagination is exactly what the future demands.”
