Privacy policy

As an important contact of TFF The Transnational or as a subscriber to our e-newsletter TFF PressInfo, we care about your integrity and privacy and want you to feel good and safe about interacting with us.

As of May 25, 2018, important changes are being made to European data protection law. The implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related rules impose requirements in terms of the data that we hold and how we use it.

Our Privacy Policy is very simple: We use your name and e-mail address exclusively for the purpose of sending these TFF news updates and we never have passed and never will pass them on to third parties.

We take care to ensure that we only send you relevant TFF content (including information about our articles, event, books).

When you receive a TFF PressInfo it is produced by us but sent to you via our account at the US-based company – iContact. Your address is stored with them, not with us here in Sweden.

You may read iContact’s privacy policy here.

When you sign up to receive alerts about new posts here on The Transnational – “Get the News” on the front page top right – your address is stored with WordPress.com which is owned by Automattic which is also the hosting company of The Transnational, not with us here in Sweden.

You may read WordPress.com’s privacy policy here.

All of our messages provide you with the option to unsubscribe. But we would like, of course, to continue to share this content with you.

However, if you no longer wish to receive our TFF PressInfos or other relevant information from us, just let us know by clicking “unsubscribe” on the latest or next mail you receive from us.

If you have any questions about this message, please contact us at TFF@transnational.org

Best regards,

Jan Oberg, TFF director
