Thank you for bringing the attention to the contributions of Gareth Porter and Farhang Jahanpour.
Hopefully it helps to counter the untruths about Iranian politics and society – as often and in as many media as possible. If the public and the international community are asleep, there is likely to be a repeat of the warmongering and waging of war we experienced in Iraq, Libya and Syria.
I recall Richard Dearlove, the former head of MI6, who reported a visit to Washington after the Iraq war had begun in 2003. “The intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy,” he said.
